(Foxcrest Daydreamer At Davricanby x Icyrivers Myohmy By Carriegame)
Annie's puppies started to arrive just after midnight on 27 March. Four dogs and 7 bitches.

Taken hours apart, this boy certainly loves his mummy cuddles. Click on any smaller images to see them in full size.

The puppies are 3 days old and have already had to have their nails trimmed. They weren't too keen on the idea and there was a lot of wriggling.

The puppies have had their nails trimmed again today. They were not impressed and showed their displeasure by peeing and pooing on me.

The girl with the stripey collar hasn't missed out, I've been supplementing with bottle feeds and it had been her turn. She was in no hurry to get to Annie as she already had a full tummy.
09 April 2018
A couple of photos of the puppies on their own while Annie chills out on the living room floor. They've got full tummies so don't notice she's not there. Their eyes are open now and it's such a wonderful experience to hold up a puppy and see him or her looking back at you.
10 April 2018
Watch this VIDEO especially near the end where the puppy on the far end flips over. In this VIDEO the pups look as though they've had one drink too many as they move around.

The puppies can be quite active and vocal at times, as you can see and hear in this first VIDEO. In this 2nd VIDEO the pups are having their first drink of milk from a bowl. They didn't need any encouragement.

It's a hard life being a puppy.

I've had to increase the height of the opening after this girl escaped from the whelping box twice.

This girl thought it would be more comfortable at the other side

of Annie's head.
Their first solid food, kibble soaked in hot water and made into a pulp, with a splash of goats milk added.
Full tummies and empty bowls.
18 April 2018
You wouldn't think that would be comfortable but pups from every litter have seemed to prefer sleeping like that.
A crate full of puppies. I put them in here while I cleaned out the whelping box after they'd had some bowls of goats milk. They seem to be wearing almost as much as they drank. It's time for the bigger crate, this one's getting a little too snug.
19 April 2018
The puppies have really taken to feeding from a bowl, as you can see in this VIDEO
My youngest granddaughter, 16½ month old Olive, in with the puppies today.

Puppy snuggles.
21 April 2018
The puppies have had a busy couple of days, with new owners coming for their first visits, so there's been some serious snoozing to catch up on.
22 April 2018
Annie's keeping a close eye on Poppy after she sneaked in to give the puppies a quick wash.
23 April 2018
Covered in milk and having a nap after their mid morning snack.
Strange little creatures. I put them into this part while I cleaned out the whelping box and put clean bedding down. Although I've taken down the barrier between the two areas and encouraged them to go through, they seem to prefer staying where they are.
24 April 2018
The VIDEO is a bit dark but in it you can see Esther with her younger siblings as well as Martha, giving the puppies a good wash.
Ned decided it was time to go in and see the puppies
Some of the puppies were asleep in the corner, but just look at the size of these little chunky monkeys compared with 4 weeks ago.
25 April 2018
I love the way the little girl puppy is looking up at Will.
Another of the girls snuggling up with Poppy.
26 April 2018
The puppies like to claim their own toys, using them as a pillow so no-one else can pinch them while they're having a nap.
This girl was dead to the world and didn't move no matter what was going on around her.
27 April 2018
A couple of videos taken today. VIDEO 1 is the puppies at play, having fun with the new toys.
VIDEO 2 is of the puppies feeding from Annie and climbing all over her.

While Annie had a well earned rest, Poppy took over puppy-sitting duties. Poppy loves the puppies and the puppies love Poppy, as you can see in this VIDEO and photos.

It's a hard life being a puppy.
Annie and Esther find the whole being a mum and being a big sister very tiring too.

It's been a busy for days for me and the puppies as the new owners start to choose their pups. Here are photos of the puppies chilling out before their next visitors arrive.
07 May 2018
The puppies have been outside for the first time today, from 6am to 10am, after that it was far too hot for them.
A VIDEO of the pups once they came back inside. Anyone who thinks puppies are quiet, gentle little creatures had better watch closely.

A couple of videos of the puppies. VIDEO 1 is of the puppies playing, their favourite pastime being shredding the paper that's on the floor of their pen. VIDEO 2 is of a couple of the pups jumping up at Annie as she pops her head into the pen
14 May 2018
It's been a beautiful day and as I didn't need to leave the house at all, the puppies have been able to stay outside all day.
This morning I came down to find one of the puppies was "collarless". The pink hearts collar was on the floor of the puppy pen, well and truly chewed, so the girl who should have been wearing it is now sporting a lilac collar instead as the other one was beyond repair. It's not the first time this has happened, the yellow collar with small hearts on met the same end a couple of days ago and its owner is now wearing a plain yellow collar.

.Another lovely day and the puppies have been outside for most of it. This VIDEO was taken this morning and you can see what fun they were having. The puppies have also been microchipped this afternoon.
16 May 2018
It's been a bit of a nippy day so the pups have been inside. Most of their time seems to have been split between snoozing and rearranging the paper on the floor of the pen.
17 May 2018
Suppertime.
18 May 2018
Just woken up, peed everywhere and waiting for food.
19 May 2018
Lunchtime, eating out. Talking of eating, another collar bit the dust and the pink collar was replaced with a red one, quickly followed by an orange one after the red one met the same end.
20 May 2018
A lovely day so the puppies were able to spend most of it outside.
21 May 2018
A bit of a tight squeeze in the crate in the back of the car, ready for their trip to the vets for their check-up. Only one poo on the way there and none on the way back. Almost a record <grin>.
22 May 2018
A last photo of the puppies together before they start leaving for their new homes tomorrow.
23 May 2018
It's always an emotional time when the puppies start to leave. Even though I know I've chosen the best possible homes for them and they're going to have fantastic lives, it's still hard to let them go. If you would like to see what happens to the puppies from now onwards, go to More of Annie's puppies 2018 to follow them in their new lives, new homes and with their new families.
A video of the remaining 8 puppies, what they lack in numbers they more than make up for with noise as you'll see and hear in this VIDEO

Supper time for the 5 remaining puppies.
27 May 2018
And then were two. Sali (stripey collar) and Bella (flowery collar) are staying an extra few days due their families' holiday commitments. This photo was taken as they ate their supper outside but as I write this they're currently tearing up and down in my lounge.

Bella and Sali, like the other 9 puppies, have gone to their new homes. A whole new chapter will now evolve for all of Annie's puppies as they make their new lives with their new families. You can follow them by going to the More of Annie's puppies 2018 page.
